Repti-sand is a kind of sand made for desert and savannah herps. This substrate is processed and sold by Zoo Med. Regular sand, when eaten by your herp, can cause blockage and chocking, but Repti-sand is actually rather healthy and doesn't block airways when your herp eats it. It comes in these colors: Natural Red, Midnight Black, Desert White. This sand is great for burrowing reptiles.
